Field and crew roles we hire for

Our work changes with the season and with the jobs we book, so we keep a pool of people ready to go. Pick the kinds of work you want and we'll match you as openings come up. Trainees are welcome in many of these roles.

Professionals performing regulated services must maintain all required licenses, certifications, insurance coverage, and compliance requirements.

How pay works

Straight answers before you apply

Every role lists its pay range. Here's how starting pay and raises work for everyone hired for private work.

Nothing on this website or said by any EEB staff member promises a raise, promotion, bonus, hours, schedule, assignment or continued employment unless it is in a written agreement approved by EEB.

  • Starting pay is $17.00/hr, or any higher rate the law requires for the assignment.
  • Your first months are an introductory period with paid training. Check-ins at about 30–60 days and 90 days review how you're doing; they are not raise dates.
  • Raises and promotions are not automatic. They are based on sustained performance and company needs, and they take effect only when approved in writing. The first pay review is generally around 6 months; a review is not a guaranteed raise.
  • Each role's pay range shows potential pay for that role. It does not guarantee a particular rate or a timeline to reach it.
  • Pay is hourly. EEB does not currently offer bonuses, commissions or incentive pay.
  • Employees are paid for hours worked as required by applicable law. Work schedules and additional hours are subject to management approval and company policy.
  • Field crews are paid weekly. Office staff are paid at least twice a month.
  • On public-work or other covered projects, the legally required rate for that project (such as prevailing wage) is paid from the first hour.
  • Tips customers give you are yours.
  • Hours, schedules and assignments are set by EEB based on available work and are not guaranteed.
  • Skills, duties, hours and hourly pay are decided separately. More hours don't automatically raise the hourly rate, and a higher rate doesn't come with more hours.

Can I Apply For Multiple Opportunities?

Yes. Applicants may express interest in multiple service categories and opportunities.

Are Certifications Required?

Some specialized and regulated services require certifications, licenses, and insurance documentation.

How Will I Be Contacted?

Qualified applicants may be contacted via phone, text message, email, or other approved communication methods.

Does Submission Guarantee Work Opportunities?

No. Submission places you within our professional review process but does not guarantee selection, assignment, partnership, or future work.

Can I Update My Profile Later?

Yes. Additional credentials, certifications, and qualifications may be submitted when requested.

Are raises or promotions automatic?

No. Raises and promotions are not automatic based on time employed, finishing training, a work anniversary or a review. They are based on sustained performance and company needs, and take effect only when approved in writing.

Are hours or schedules guaranteed?

No. EEB sets hours, schedules and assignments based on available work. The hours you list on your application are preferences that help us match you.

What does the pay range on a role mean?

It shows potential pay for that role. The range does not promise a particular rate or a timeline to reach it.

Can a part-time role become full-time?

Sometimes, but it is not automatic. Full-time positions are created only when EEB has a continuing business need, and working extra hours for a while does not create full-time status.
